You made it here, which means you've already taken one of the hardest steps toward prioritizing your mental health. Congratulations on investing in yourself! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in southern Kentucky. My journey began with a bachelor's degree in psychology, where I discovered my passion for helping others. That passion led me to earn my Master of Social Work and dedicate my career to supporting individuals through life's challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I believe therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating. My approach is genuine, laid-back, and centered on creating a space where you can simply be yourself. During our first session, I'll start by introducing myself and explaining what you can expect from the therapeutic process. From there, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you as you share your story and what brought you to therapy. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. By the end of our first session, we'll have developed an initial treatment plan together, ensuring you leave with a clear understanding of our goals and the direction of your care.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My goal is to provide an authentic, supportive, and judgment-free experience where you feel safe to be yourself. I strive to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship that balances meaningful clinical work with genuine human connection, helping you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life's challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are motivated to better understand themselves, navigate life transitions, and develop healthier ways of coping with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or everyday life concerns. My ideal client is someone who is open to self-exploration and willing to actively participate in the therapeutic process, even if they're unsure where to begin. Whether you're seeking support through a difficult season, working to build confidence and resilience, or simply looking for a space to process life's challenges, I strive to meet you where you are and tailor treatment to your unique needs, goals, and strengths.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps identify the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll work to recognize unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and build practical coping strategies that support lasting positive change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based approach that helps individuals manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and respond to life's challenges more effectively. Together, we'll develop practical skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to help you create meaningful and lasting change.

Strength-Based

A strengths-based approach focuses on identifying and building upon your existing abilities, resilience, and personal strengths rather than focusing solely on challenges. Together, we'll use your unique strengths as a foundation to foster growth, increase confidence, and help you achieve your personal goals.
