Hi there, I’m Erica. Do you feel misunderstood or pulled in multiple directions? Do you struggle with putting the words to how you are feeling? Do you miss the times where you were able to just be you? I work to empower high performers in maintaining depression and anxiety. I like to focus on peeling back the layers of uncertainty many may experience on a daily basis. Together, we can work on bringing the focus back to what’s important….which is you! We’ll use a collaborative approach to address the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I also like to integrate mindfulness, yoga, and self-motivating strategies to get to the root of your struggles. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed in life, relationships, or simply having a hard time understanding yourself due to anxiety or depression, I am here to help. I stand on working together and walking through the hard paths as a team. Therapy can be scary but it is a great place to learn yourself. My focus is always on you while creating a safe space where you can heal and grow. In our sessions, I’ll meet you with compassion, motivation, and evidence-based techniques that you can use thoroughly to overcome life’s hiccups while addressing any unwanted habits. Let’s work together!
Our first session will focus on obtaining some basic history (e.g., symptoms, pertinent background info) and creating a goal together. We can collaborate on treatment expectations and address any initial questions/concerns about the therapeutic process.
I like to use CBT, TFCBT, attachment styles, problem-solving, and solution-focused methods. I understand every individual has their own life experiences so my approach is never one size fits all.
My biggest strengths are being able to provide service in a variety of populations and settings throughout my career. I have a strength-based, person-centered approach that guides how I meet my clients needs. I have been awarded the ability to service individuals at all levels of intensive-based care. This has granted me the opportunity to develop a level of understanding for humans and person-centered care.
The therapy process is a collaborative effort. Effective change includes doing the work inside and outside of sessions. We are teammates and it is important for client to recognize the ability they to achieving goals when approached correctly. Healing is a journey, not a destination.
