New to Grow
I am passionate about helping individuals grow, heal, and create meaningful change through the therapy process. My approach combines compassion, honesty, and thoughtful challenge, providing a supportive space where you can feel heard while also being encouraged to move toward your goals. I find great joy and fulfillment in helping clients improve their quality of life, build resilience, and discover a greater sense of purpose and well-being.
In our first session, we'll take time to explore what has brought you to therapy and discuss your personal background, life experiences, and current challenges. We'll review what you can expect from the therapy process, identify your goals for treatment, and address any immediate concerns or priorities you'd like to focus on. This session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for your therapeutic journey.
What sets my approach apart is the breadth of experience I bring to the therapy room. My background includes providing intensive family-based services in clients’ homes, which gave me a unique perspective on the real-life challenges individuals and families face in their everyday environments. In addition, I have worked with a diverse range of clients across inpatient psychiatric, forensic, school, and community-based settings. These experiences have allowed me to develop a well-rounded, flexible approach to therapy that is tailored to each individual's unique needs. By drawing from this variety of clinical settings and perspectives, I strive to provide compassionate, practical, and effective care that supports meaningful and lasting growth.
I am best positioned to work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, career-related stress, and family conflict. Whether you are navigating a major change, feeling stuck, or struggling to manage difficult emotions, I provide a supportive environment where we can work together toward meaningful growth and lasting change. I particularly enjoy working with clients who are motivated, engaged in the therapeutic process, and willing to invest in their personal development. While therapy can be challenging at times, I believe that people have an innate capacity to shape their future and improve their lives through insight, effort, and intentional action. My role is to help you build on your strengths, overcome obstacles, and move toward the life you want to create.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify the thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that may be contributing to emotional distress or preventing them from reaching their goals. Together, we examine patterns of thinking and behavior that may be maintaining anxiety, depression, stress, or other challenges. Once these patterns are identified, we work collaboratively to develop practical strategies for making meaningful changes. This may include challenging unhelpful thoughts, building healthier coping skills, and adopting more effective behaviors that support improved emotional well-being. The goal is to help clients develop greater self-awareness, gain a sense of control over their responses, and create lasting positive change in their daily lives.
Psychodynamic
I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients gain insight into how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may be influencing their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore recurring themes in your life, including relationship dynamics, emotional reactions, and coping patterns that may no longer be serving you. By increasing self-awareness and understanding the deeper roots of your challenges, clients often gain greater clarity, emotional freedom, and the ability to make more intentional choices. I integrate psychodynamic principles with other evidence-based approaches to help clients create lasting change, improve relationships, and develop a stronger understanding of themselves.
