I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a person-centered philosophy, grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each individual’s unique journey. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership—where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. In our sessions, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where we can explore your challenges together and build practical tools for growth and healing. As a bilingual therapist, I offer services in both English and Spanish, helping clients feel fully themselves in the language that’s most comfortable.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is all about getting to know you. It’s a safe, welcoming space where we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask some questions to understand your background, current challenges, and goals—but you set the pace. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. My goal in the initial session is to build a connection and create a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. We’ll also go over what therapy will look like moving forward and discuss any questions you have about the process. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning, I’ll meet you where you are—with compassion, curiosity, and care. And if Spanish is your preferred language, I’m happy to provide services en español.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is creating a warm, compassionate space where clients feel safe to be themselves. I take the time to listen deeply and without judgment, so we can work together in a way that feels supportive and empowering. I bring over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, and life’s everyday challenges. My approach is collaborative—I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients who are open to exploring their thoughts and behaviors—and are willing to do some work between sessions (like journaling or trying out new coping skills)—tend to do well with CBT. CBT works best when there’s a clear concern to focus on, such as: • Anxiety (generalized, social, panic, phobias) • Depression • OCD • PTSD • Insomnia • Eating disorders • Stress or anger management • Perfectionism or low self-esteem CBT is very hands-on and skill-based. Ideal clients are those who want to learn tools to manage their symptoms and gain a better understanding of how their thoughts and actions influence their emotional well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

“In our work together, I use an approach called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBT. It’s a practical, goal-focused form of therapy that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, your feelings, and the way you respond to situations.
