I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who specializes in supporting teens and adults navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, and the emotional intensity that can make life feel unmanageable. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence based care. I help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their own resilience so they can move toward a life that feels steadier and more aligned with their values. Through Grow Therapy, you’ll have a supportive space to heal, grow, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive space where we get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, your history, and what you’re hoping to change or strengthen in your life. We’ll explore what’s been feeling overwhelming, what’s been working for you, and what you want your healing to look like. You don’t need to prepare anything or have the “right” words, your only job is to show up as you are. By the end of our first meeting, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we can work together, what our sessions will look like, and the first steps toward the stability, insight, and growth you’re seeking.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance of compassion, structure, and evidence based care I bring to every session. I’m skilled at helping clients understand the “why” behind their patterns while also giving them practical tools they can use right away. My work is deeply trauma informed and grounded in modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT, and strength based therapy, which allows me to tailor treatment to each person’s needs rather than forcing a one size fits all approach. Clients often tell me they feel genuinely seen, supported, and challenged in ways that help them grow. I focus on building insight, strengthening emotional regulation, and helping you reconnect with your values and resilience. The result is therapy that not only helps you cope in the moment but also creates lasting shifts in how you relate to yourself, your emotions, and your life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor I work best with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients come in navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, or the pressure to hold everything together on the outside while feeling chaotic on the inside. Others are simply looking for a space to understand themselves better, build healthier coping skills, or create a life that feels more aligned with their values. You’re a great fit for my style of therapy if you’re open to reflection, curious about change, and ready to explore both the challenges you’re facing and the strengths you already carry. My role is to help you make sense of what’s happening internally, build practical skills you can use in daily life, and support you in moving toward stability, confidence, and a deeper sense of self trust. Through Grow Therapy, you’ll have a compassionate, structured space to heal, grow, and create meaningful shifts that last.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my work, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, whether those patterns show up in your thoughts, emotions, or daily behaviors. Together, we’ll identify the beliefs that fuel distress and gently challenge them, while also building practical coping skills you can use right away. My approach is collaborative and paced to your comfort, and through Grow Therapy you’ll have a supportive space to practice new strategies, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my practice, I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you build practical skills for navigating intense emotions, strengthening relationships, and creating more stability in your daily life. We’ll work together to increase awareness of what you’re feeling, understand the urges that show up, and practice skills like grounding, distress tolerance, and effective communication. DBT is collaborative and non‑judgmental, and I’ll support you in finding the balance between accepting where you are and making meaningful changes that move you toward the life you want.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In my practice, I use Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help you identify what’s already working in your life and build on the strengths you bring into the room. Instead of staying stuck in problems, we focus on your goals, your resilience, and the small, meaningful steps that move you toward the future you want. SFBT is collaborative and empowering, you set the direction, and together we highlight your progress, amplify your skills, and create practical changes that fit your life.

Strength-Based

In my practice, I use Strength‑Based Therapy to help you recognize and build on the abilities, values, and resilience you already carry. Instead of centering what’s “wrong,” we focus on your strengths, your lived wisdom, and the parts of you that have helped you survive and grow. Together, we identify what’s working, amplify your confidence, and create changes that feel empowering and sustainable. This approach honors your autonomy and supports you in moving toward a life that reflects your strengths, not your struggles.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my practice, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build a more flexible, compassionate relationship with your thoughts and emotions. Instead of fighting or avoiding difficult experiences, we explore how to make space for them while staying connected to your values, the things that truly matter to you. Together, we’ll practice mindfulness, clarify what you want your life to stand for, and take small, meaningful steps toward those goals. ACT supports you in moving through challenges with greater openness, resilience, and purpose.
