Saundra Krieger
Hi, I’m Saundra — please feel free to call me that. Life can be challenging, and sometimes we all need a safe space to pause, reflect, and find our way forward. I believe therapy is a partnership — a place where we work together to explore what’s holding you back and discover practical ways to help you grow, heal, and move toward the life you want. With over 35 years of experience, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families facing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, health concerns, and women’s issues. In addition to my clinical work, I’ve trained physicians on business protocols, facilitated health education programs, delivered wellness presentations, and provided student advising and counseling. My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I tailor each session to your unique needs, blending support and gentle challenge to help you uncover your strengths and create meaningful, lasting change.
First session
Making that first call or walking through the door takes courage — and it’s the first step toward reaching your goals. Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what brought you here, and begin identifying your goals for therapy. It’s your time to ask questions and start building comfort and trust. Together, we’ll explore your background and what you hope to achieve, making sure we’re a good fit to move forward. We’ll then develop a tailored plan to guide our work in future sessions. Please visit my website for additional information: https://www.psychotherapyandcoaching.com ⸻
Strengths
I bring over 35 years of experience as both a Coach and Clinical Social Worker, and I’ve had the privilege of working with people from many different walks of life — including business professionals, individuals in residential programs, and those in hospital settings. This diverse background allows me to meet each client where they are and adapt my approach to fit their unique needs. As a coach and therapist, my goal is to empower you to create space for learning, self-discovery, and growth. My style is compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I aim to help you deepen your understanding of yourself, improve your relationships, and enhance your overall quality of life. ⸻
Ideal clients
I am licensed in the state of Maryland and see clients virtually online or by phone. I specialize in helping individuals navigate depression, life transitions, health challenges, relationship concerns, and women’s issues. Over the years, I have developed expertise in supporting clients living with disabilities such as Multiple Sclerosis and other health-related conditions. I also value working with clients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, recognizing that each person’s story and experience is unique.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my work, I help clients recognize and reshape patterns of thinking. Using tools like positive self-talk, mindfulness, and practical skill-building, we work together to create healthier ways of coping and thinking that support lasting growth and well-being.
