I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a holistic, compassionate approach to mental wellness. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, and I work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that may include therapy, medication management, and lifestyle support. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped to navigate life's challenges with confidence.
In our first session, you can expect a thoughtful, judgment-free conversation focused on getting to know you, your history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. We'll explore your mental health background, lifestyle, and any past treatments or medications you've tried. This is also your opportunity to ask questions, share what’s been weighing on you, and help shape a plan that feels right for you. My goal is to make you feel heard, supported, and informed as we begin working together.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to truly listen without judgment and create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen and respected. I take a holistic, individualized approach—recognizing that mental health is deeply connected to physical, emotional, and social well-being. I'm also direct when needed, helping clients face difficult truths with compassion while empowering them to take meaningful steps forward. My clinical experience, combined with genuine empathy and a practical mindset, allows me to meet people where they are and support them as they build insight, resilience, and meaningful change in their lives.
I work best with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions and are ready to take an active role in their mental wellness. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals, caregivers, or individuals who’ve been putting others first and are now seeking support for themselves. I also work well with those who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained, looking for a safe, nonjudgmental space to heal, gain insight, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I provide comprehensive psychiatric medication management and integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques into our work together. CBT helps you understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so we can target patterns that are reinforcing anxiety, depression, or mood instability. Sessions are focused, goal-oriented, and skill-based, designed to complement medication treatment and help you apply practical strategies in everyday life. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and centered on measurable progress.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
In addition to medication management, I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop the ability to experience difficult thoughts and emotions without becoming overwhelmed or controlled by them. Together, we clarify what truly matters to you and focus on taking meaningful, values-driven action, even when life feels challenging. This work supports a stronger sense of identity, resilience, and a life that feels aligned, authentic, and purposeful.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I provide psychiatric medication management and incorporate mindfulness-based strategies to enhance emotional regulation and stress resilience. Mindfulness skills help you increase awareness of thoughts and emotions without becoming overwhelmed by them, improving focus, stability, and overall well-being. These tools are practical, structured, and designed to support measurable progress alongside medication treatment.
