New to Grow
Hi, I'm Caroline, I enjoy working with teens, young adults and adults on navigating life’s changes and challenges. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, sort through what feels overwhelming, and build practical tools that fit your life. I enjoy helping clients work through anxiety, stress, friendship concerns, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and major transitions such as starting a new school, college, work, or increased independence. Together, we can explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen coping skills, improve communication and boundaries, and create space for greater confidence and balance. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. Whether you are feeling anxious, disconnected, unsure of your next steps, or simply need someone to talk to, I aim to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.
Our first therapy session will focus on getting to know each other and exploring what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your goals, concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. Therapy looks different for everyone, and your needs and goals may evolve as we continue meeting. We will regularly check in and adjust our focus to make sure our sessions remain supportive and meaningful for you.
I enjoy working with clients who are open to gently pushing themselves outside of their comfort zones in a safe, supportive environment. Change can be difficult, and everyone experiences it differently. Together, we will move at a pace that feels right for you while building the confidence and skills to navigate new challenges.
There is no right or wrong time to start therapy. Taking that first step can feel overwhelming, even when you know you are ready for support. All I ask is that you come as you are and remain open to sharing at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we can work toward your personal goals and create meaningful change.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, we will build practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients manage intense emotions, cope with stress, improve relationships, and respond to challenges in healthier ways. DBT balances acceptance with meaningful change, using practical tools such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication.
