Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in CA. I attended Pepperdine University for my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Fuller Seminary for my Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Medical Family Therapy. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

For our first session, feel free to get cozy and comfortable as we introduce ourselves and go over some brief housekeeping items. I will ask you questions about your upbringing, friends/family and about what you are experiencing now that we should address in coming sessions. We will come up with a few goals and schedule our next appointment! You can share are much or as little as you feel comfortable with in our first session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In my experience working with young professionals, I have found that a balance between exploring the past and the present is beneficial. I love to help people identify their emotions and needs in the present and explore the root of their triggers and hurt. I offer a safe space by providing empathy while also supporting you in identifying new ways to think about an issues or situation. I love to help people feel "unstuck"!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with young professionals who are navigating dating/relationships, family dynamics and anxieties about their career. I enjoy helping clients set boundaries and communicating needs to others so that they can show up as their authentic selves! Please note that I am not taking new couples at this time.

My treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

I am trained in TFCBT and utilize the model with clients who report traumatic experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients identify thought patterns that result in anxiety and depression to develop more adaptive and helpful thinking patters.

Psychodynamic

I enjoy helping clients consider how their past is impacting them now. It can be helpful to bring awareness to unconscious patterns.
