About me

Hi, I'm Ali. Therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, ask difficult questions, and maybe even laugh along the way. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in both community mental health and private practice. I help clients navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, body image concerns, and life transitions while gaining a better understanding of themselves and creating meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is really a conversation. I'll ask questions to better understand what's bringing you in, what's been challenging, and what you're hoping will be different. It's also your chance to get a feel for my style and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my strengths is meeting clients where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be. I balance listening with thoughtful feedback, helping clients recognize what's getting in their way, gain new perspectives, and make changes that feel realistic and lasting.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who may look like they have it all together on the outside but feels overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain on the inside. They are ready to better understand themselves, make sense of what has been holding them back, and create a life that feels more aligned with who they are, one that feels authentic and fulfilling.

My treatment methods

Relational

In my practice, I use a relational approach to help clients better understand how their relationships and life experiences influence the way they think, feel, and connect with others. Through a supportive therapeutic relationship, we can explore these dynamics and discover new ways of relating to yourself and the people around you.

Attachment-based

Many of the ways we relate to ourselves and others are shaped by our earliest experiences. Using an attachment based approach, we'll explore how those early experiences continue to influence your relationships and sense of self with curiosity and compassion, creating opportunities to heal old wounds and build healthier, more secure relationships.

Psychodynamic

Sometimes the struggles that keep us feeling stuck have roots we haven't fully explored. My psychodynamic approach helps us better understand those experiences so you can gain insight, make more intentional choices, and move forward with greater confidence.

Ali was really warm and kind in our session! I appreciated her active listening, and holding space for pieces that felt tender. She also made sure to check in that we were hitting the pieces that I wanted to talk about, and I felt like she made the experience really tailored to my needs.
