LMFT, 6 years of experience
I am passionate in providing quality mental health to my clients by establishing a safe space, encouraging vulnerability and authenticity. I value what my clients share in therapy while focusing on attaining goals set in treatment. I encourage and empower my clients to become self-aware, problem solve and utilize coping skills provided in therapy. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults with experience working in juvenile probation, school counseling, individuals suffering from transgenerational trauma, difficulties with acculturation, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, self-esteem/self-worth issues, work-related issues, relationship conflict and divorce. I believe that it is important to meet my clients where they are and provide a non-judgmental approach, collaboratively working together to achieve desired outcomes.
After intake and development of treatment goals, I hope to provide guidance in therapy, teaching my client new tools to cope with their current symptoms and gain insight on how to challenge their negative thoughts and emotions.
My biggest strength is being authentic and genuine in therapy, offering a safe space for vulnerability. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples and first responders/health care workers.

Speaking with her helps me be honest with myself and together we work through a problem or set a goal for the future with clear steps to get there. Speaking with her the next session I feel accountable for the steps I did or didn’t take, and we work through how or why, perhaps editing next steps. The sessions are dynamic and I feel heard. The honesty and support she gives helps me feel capable within my own life.
