Hello! I am a Marriage and Family Therapist committed to helping my clients make changes in their lives that will lead to a sense of positivity, empowerment and the ability to move forward in areas where they might feel currently "stuck". I help my clients achieve this through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Family Systems Therapy, meaning I will help you examine what is going on and help you on your path towards making daily thinking and behavior changes that will bring improvements to your life. My specialty is working with teens, people in their twenties and couples/family work. However, I enjoy working with ages 10 through late adulthood as well. I can work with individuals, couples or family groups. I have helped many clients with their anxiety, depression, and family issues. I am passionate about improving lives. I am here to help you live your life to the fullest. If you are interested in scheduling a first visit with me, please contact me at https://growtherapy.com/.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we get to talk about your background, strengths and challenges. I will explain the structure of the sessions to come, what to expect. We will also work on establishing your goals. These goals can change and clarify as we do our work. Your therapy is YOURS, and my job is to make sure you are supported in creating the life you want.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

Treatment methods and tools that I use include the following: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Recognizing the distortions in one's thinking that are creating issues and reevaluating them in order to actively make changes in negative behaviors. I will walk you step-by-step through this process, helping you locate patterns of thought and behavior that may have been unknowingly plaguing you. Family Systems Therapy: This therapy offers a deeper understanding of the origins of thought and behavior patterns that stem from past and current family situations. Combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we will look at what might be maintaining current thought and behavior patterns. You will be supported every step of the way with empathy, positivity and encouragement.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strength is my ability to quickly identify patterns and problem-solve with my clients in ways that are connective and supportive. Another strength is my ability to work with clients from an array of backgrounds, age groups and issues. However, I am especially talented at working with adolescents and young adults. Also, I am adept at working with the issues of depression and anxiety.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My joy is to serve clients who are ready to start creating the lives that they want to live. They start in different places on their journey towards their goal lives. However, they all have the knowledge deep down that something needs to change and that they are the ones to seek it and make it happen with the support of a therapist who wants to help them clarify their path to succeed on their journey.
