Shawna Rhymes

10 years of experience

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California and have been practicing for 10 years. I am committed to promoting individual and collective resilience. I am particularly sensitive to clients facing moments of transition, like a move to the city, job loss, or breakup, when the delicate balance can seem to tremble and symptoms of anxiety, depression, and self-doubt can emerge.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, I will spend some time getting to know you and the issues that brought you to therapy. I will ask questions about your presenting concerns, as well as your history and background, your interests, your strengths, and your goals for treatment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am committed to maintaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive practice, which serves as a safe harbor for people who identify as LGBTQIA and people of the global majority. I offer the flexibility of remote therapy sessions, and welcome clients to my online practice.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Professionals seeking work, life, balance. I am particularly sensitive to clients facing moments of transition, like a move to the city, job loss, or breakup, when the delicate balance can seem to tremble and symptoms of anxiety, depression, and self-doubt can emerge.
