I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California, and I'm excited to connect with you. With a decade of experience in the mental health field and five years as a practicing therapist, my focus has always been on understanding and supporting people who are working through life’s big questions—about themselves, their relationships, and their experiences. I truly believe in the power of therapy to help you build resilience and create positive change. Your journey is unique, and I’m here to support you with compassion, empathy, and respect every step of the way. If you're ready to explore your experiences, gain new insights, and take steps toward a more fulfilling life, I'm here for you. Let’s take that first step together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your life, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what your journey has been like so far. You’ll also have the space to share what you hope to get out of therapy, and I’m happy to answer any questions you have about me or how I work. By the end of the session, we’ll have a good sense of whether we’re a good fit to continue working together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, I bring a down-to-earth style, a sense of humor, and a deep knowledge of the field to our work together. I believe in creating a space where you feel truly understood and supported, where you can show up as your authentic self. I’m here to be a steady anchor for you, keeping things confidential and fostering a trusting environment as we explore your personal growth. I’m also committed to helping you step out of your comfort zone and embrace change. Together, we’ll tackle obstacles and explore new ways of looking at things. My goal is to help you build resilience, gain valuable insights, and work toward living a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Life can throw some big questions our way: Why do I act the way I do? Why do my relationships seem to follow the same patterns? Why do I feel such intense emotions? These aren’t just problems—they’re opportunities to learn more about yourself and grow. My job as a therapist is to be right there with you as you explore these questions and discover new ways to move forward. I’m all about creating a safe, open space where you can talk honestly and without judgment. Whether you’re working through personal challenges, navigating tricky relationship dynamics, or just trying to make sense of overwhelming emotions, I’m here to help guide and support you on your journey toward understanding and clarity.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

Sometimes we find ourselves stuck in patterns—emotionally, in relationships, or just in how we see ourselves—and it can be hard to understand why. Using a psychodynamic approach, I help you gently explore the deeper layers of your experience: your past relationships, early messages you received, and the emotions that may be just under the surface. Together, we’ll make sense of how these pieces fit together and how they might be shaping your life today. Therapy becomes a space where insight leads to real, lasting change—not just coping, but truly healing. You don’t have to figure it all out alone, and I’ll be here with you each step of the way.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In therapy, I believe the most important thing is that you feel truly heard, understood, and accepted for who you are. With a person-centered approach, I focus on creating a genuine, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as yourself—no masks, no expectations. I trust that you have the strength within you to heal and grow, and my role is to support you in discovering that for yourself. Together, we’ll explore what’s important to you, what’s holding you back, and how you can move forward in a way that feels authentic and true to your values. You are the expert of your own life, and I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In addition to our deep, meaningful conversations, I also incorporate DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills into our work together. These skills are practical tools to help you manage intense emotions, improve your relationships, and handle life's challenges with more ease. Whether it's learning mindfulness to stay grounded in the present moment, developing healthier ways to cope with stress, or improving how you communicate with others, DBT can be a powerful addition to our work. Together, we'll explore which skills are most helpful for you, and I’ll support you in practicing them so you can build a more balanced, fulfilling life.
