With over 10 years of clinical experience, I specialize in supporting individuals through life’s most significant transitions, with a particular focus on postpartum mental health and the emotional challenges of early parenthood. I am passionate about helping new and expecting parents navigate the complex changes that can accompany pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Whether you are struggling with postpartum anxiety, depression, overwhelm, identity shifts, relationship stress, birth-related trauma, or the demands of balancing caregiving with your own needs, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, build confidence in your parenting journey, and create a more sustainable sense of balance and well-being. In addition to postpartum mental health, I have extensive experience working with women’s issues, family conflict, and life transitions. I understand that becoming a parent can impact every aspect of life including your relationships, career, self-image, and sense of identity and I work collaboratively with clients to navigate these changes with greater clarity and resilience. My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and integrative, drawing from solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques, and family systems approaches to provide personalized, evidence-based care. I believe healing happens through connection, and I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where every client feels respected, empowered, and truly seen.
During our first session, we'll take time to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. I'll invite you to share your current challenges, concerns, and goals at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Whether you're navigating postpartum depression, anxiety, overwhelm, identity changes, relationship stress, or the transition to parenthood, this is a space where you can speak openly without judgment. We'll explore your personal history, support system, and the factors affecting your emotional well-being so I can better understand your unique experience. Together, we'll identify areas where you'd like support and begin creating a plan tailored to your needs and goals. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. You can expect a conversation rather than an interview, and there is no pressure to have everything figured out before you arrive. Many clients leave their first session feeling heard, validated, and with a clearer understanding of next steps toward healing and growth. I empathize that finding time and energy for therapy as a new parent can be challenging. Our first session is designed to provide a supportive space where you can focus on your own well-being while we explore the emotional, physical, and relational changes that often accompany pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood.

I’m best positioned to support women and parents navigating life transitions, especially those experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety, identity shifts, or caregiving stress. I work well with clients who are feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or seeking more balance in their relationships and daily lives. I also specialize in working with individuals experiencing family or relationship conflict, especially when trying to juggle multiple roles such as partner, parent, professional and still find space for themselves. Clients who are open to reflecting, ready for change (even if unsure where to start), and want a collaborative, supportive space tend to thrive in my care.

Jennifer is so understanding, compassionate and caring. She’s made me feel very comfortable enough to look forward to our appointments. She always shares great resources and if I’m not gasping what she’s explaining to me she knows how to reword it for my understanding to help me reach my goals!
