Hello! I’m Susan, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) committed to helping individuals build healthier relationship with themselves and others. Life can be a difficult journey at times that can be hard to navigate alone. I am committed to helping others build skills to achieve the goals of becoming a stronger, more confident self, walking beside them every step of the way.
The first session will be a time to get to know one another, discuss your needs and create a plan to reach the goals you set for yourself.
My focus is to support individuals in reaching their goals and creating a positive, safe space that promotes growth and healing.
CBT focuses on how one’s thinking can affect mood. Focus is to change the thinking pattern to be more positive and the mood will elevate as well.
Becoming more aware and accepting of emotions experienced enables the ability to express them in a healthier manner.
Learning to be in and experience each moment paying attention to thought, feelings and sensations.
