Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in working in the mental health field. Life is a journey with many unexpected disappointments, life challenges and experiences. I am here to help you manage your journey. Whether you feel stuck, you need support in figuring out what your next steps are or need to find new tools and strategies to move forward in your life, I am here to help you get back up and on you way again. I believe there is hope in every situation and desire to help you find it.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will get to know each other better. I want to hear your story - what brings you to therapy, have you been to therapy in the past, what are you expectations, etc. I want to know as much about you as I can. Sometimes just telling the story of your life, or what is bothering you can be helpful. Once I get a good grasp of your story, we will work together to develop goals and plans for future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strength is actively listening with empathy, compassion and without judgment. I care deeply about others, and it is my number one goal to help to get you to a better place. My experience as a therapist and as a parent has given me sound strategies to move people to a better place in their lives. My combination of empathy, humor, and knowledge has been effective in helping many people overcome challenging stressors in their lives.
