Hello! I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my Master of Social Work from San Diego State and Bachelor in Psychology from USC. I have always been interested in mental health and helping individuals heal from their past experiences and current struggles. I've been practicing for 5 years, and love being able to help people work through what is troubling them, supporting their further individual growth.
In our first session, we'll work to uncover what brought you to therapy and what it is you want to get out of therapy. This will help us create goals and a treatment plan, the "roadmap" we will follow to address and progress in your growth.
I take a very strengths based approach to each and every client, ensuring that we are both aware, regardless of what struggles you may be experiencing, that you are an individual with many strengths and great resilience to help you navigate your stress, anxiety, relationship issues, work problems, etc.
I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, but especially those entering adulthood and navigating new levels of independence and responsibility. My clients are often struggling with feelings of overwhelm and anxiety, as well as relationship issues.
I focus on the strengths of each individual. Even when things get hard, we all still have strengths we bring to the table and levels of resilience that can often surprise us.
