Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you’ll be met with warmth and curiosity. I intend to get to know you - your story, your hopes, your needs, and your goals - and for you to get a sense of how I work.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I pride myself in being an empathic listener with efficient communication skills devoted to providing and implementing effective evidenced based treatment modalities. I’ve helped individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with a proven process to help you identify the root causes of your challenges and develop a personalized plan that leads to meaningful, measurable change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with young adults, adults, and families who are navigating life challenges. Those who have a desire to discover themselves, explore and heal past wounds in a way that offers deeper connection to one’s values, priorities, and well-being. I am committed to helping people learn how to cope and grow from life’s obstacles in a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, gain valuable insights, and develop strategies for creating positive change.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Support individuals in developing psychological flexibility to thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and situations, and live more meaningful lives.

EMDR

EMDR supports an individual in reprocessing traumatic memories / negative core beliefs and reduce their emotional impact. The brain is adaptive and wants to heal itself. Utilizing EMDR techniques to develop emotion regulation skills, reprocess the memory, and reduce the emotional charge helps lead to a healthier emotional response and adaptive positive beliefs about oneself.

Trauma Informed Care

Taking into consideration the entire person and their life experiences. There is an emphasis on acknowledging the impact these life experiences and traumas by creating a safe supportive non-judgment environment.

Strength-Based

Looking at the entire person and leaning into the internal strengths and resources within to promote growth and resilience.

Motivational Interviewing

Help an individual move through ambivalence towards change and enhance their motivation to make changes in their life.
