My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Supporting individuals in developing psychological flexibility to thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and situations, and live more meaningful lives.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) supports an individual in reprocessing traumatic memories / negative core beliefs and reduce their emotional impact. The brain is adaptive and wants to heal itself. Utilizing EMDR techniques to develop emotion regulation skills, reprocess the memory, and reduce the emotional charge helps lead to a healthier emotional response and adaptive positive beliefs about oneself.

Strength-Based

Looking at the entire person and leaning into the internal strengths and resources within to promote growth and resilience.

Motivational Interviewing

Helping an individual move through ambivalence towards change and enhance their motivation to make changes in their life.

This was my first session with Grace, and she was warm, authentic, and empowering. She’s an excellent listener and very solution-oriented. I learned so much about EMDR and how the mind and body work together. I left feeling understood, encouraged, and excited for my next session.
