Seeking support takes courage, and finding the right therapist is an important first step. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself and working toward meaningful change. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona with over 12 years of experience helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. Throughout my career, I have worked in community mental health centers, integrated medical clinics, and private practice, giving me experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of mental health concerns. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, ADHD, grief and loss, parenting concerns, relationship challenges, and many other emotional and behavioral issues. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with a major life transition, or looking to improve your overall well-being, I am here to support you. I incorporate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, psychoeducation, and strengths-based interventions. Every client is different, and I work with you to develop a treatment approach that best fits your goals and preferences. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, empowered, and equipped with tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and resilience. I would be honored to be part of your journey toward improved mental health and a more fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. During this session, we'll discuss what brought you to therapy, review your personal history, and explore your goals for treatment. Some background information is important to gather so I can better understand your experiences and provide the best possible care. However, I also understand that trust takes time to build. You are welcome to share at a pace that feels comfortable to you, and we can continue exploring your story as our therapeutic relationship grows.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth, so I prioritize creating an environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we'll identify your strengths, build practical coping skills, and work toward lasting, positive change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with people who are motivated to work through their issues and learn how to cope so they can move toward a better future. I can also help others improve motivation when needed. I like helping people from various backgrounds. I really like to help all people who are needing support and skills to improve their mental health and their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is my most commonly used therapy method. I have seen the most results when using it. CBT helps recognize thinking that may not be accurate and causing negative emotions. It then works on changing negative thinking in order to improve emotions and behaviors. It is very effective with many mental health disorders.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT helps client's with emotion regulation and changing related behaviors. It involves mindfulness techniques and acceptance strategies. It is often used in conjunction with CBT for those with depression, anxiety, and PTSD

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma Informed Care is used commonly in my treatment with clients. It focuses on physical and emotional safety as well as building trust. I find it very important and useful. It aims to avoid retraumatization and helps create an environment for healing.
