New clients continue care with this provider

Hello, and welcome to this phase of your journey! I am an LCSW providing private practice therapy in Chico, CA. My experience has included helping people navigate gender and sexuality exploration and discovery, marriage, divorce, trauma, PTSD (both chronic and acute,) Perinatal Mental Health and Mood Disorders, parenting bio and adopted children/teens/adults, attachment challenges, Autism, ADHD, Intimate Partner Abuse, Bipolar disorders, severe mental health issues, substance use, homelessness, grief, loss, healing, and immense joy. If you or someone in your life experiences any of these things, I am a therapist who understands and can help you heal.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, all you have to do is show up. I provide a safe, warm, welcoming space for us to get to know each other, where you will be supported in untangling your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I will help you find and use your unique strengths to overcome your unique challenges.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a wide range of personal and professional experience, but you are the expert in your own life. My practice is a judgement free space, where we will work together to find which tools work best for you.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love to help people navigate challenges related to a wide range of issues, including relationships, pregnancy, birth, infant loss, adoption, parenting, LGBTQ identities, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, dissociative disorders, and healing from trauma.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I take an eclectic, compassionate, client-led, psychodynamic approach to therapy, drawing on my skills in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and other modalities, to help you feel and function better. ART is similar to EMDR, for the treatment of PTSD and other mental health challenges.
