(he/him)
I’m a therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals navigating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, borderline personality disorder, substance use, eating disorders, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches to help you build practical skills and deepen self-understanding. I work from a trauma-informed lens, prioritizing emotional safety, trust, and empowerment in our work together. I also take a holistic perspective, recognizing the important role that lifestyle factors—like sleep, relationships, and daily routines—play in overall mental health. I have experience working with individuals and relationships practicing ethical non-monogamy and am kink-aware and lifestyle-affirming. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, inclusive space where all identities, relationship structures, and experiences are respected. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for support and growth, I’m here to help you move toward meaningful and lasting change.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to have questions or mixed emotions. The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. We’ll spend time talking about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any goals you may have. I may also ask about your personal history, relationships, and past experiences with therapy (if any), so I can better understand your needs and how to support you. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions—about my approach, the therapy process, or anything else that feels important. You’re not expected to share everything right away; we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and safe for you. Together, we’ll begin to identify what you’d like to get out of therapy and discuss possible next steps. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning. Most importantly, the first session is about connection. Finding the right therapist fit matters, and this is your opportunity to see if working together feels right for you.
I bring a grounded, real-world approach to therapy that balances honesty, compassion, and a sense of humor. I believe meaningful change comes from feeling both supported and challenged, so I strive to meet you with empathy while also helping you look at patterns, perspectives, and choices in a clear, realistic way. Clients often appreciate my ability to create a space that feels safe, approachable, and genuine—where it’s okay to be yourself, even in the messy or uncertain moments. I use humor thoughtfully to ease tension and build connection, while always respecting the seriousness of your experiences. My strengths include strong active listening, insight-building, and the ability to tailor interventions to each individual. I’m skilled at helping clients develop practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and build self-awareness. I also prioritize consistency, reliability, and creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Above all, I aim to help you feel understood while supporting you in making meaningful, sustainable changes in your life.
I work best with clients experiencing a variety of common mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, stress-related challenges, relationship issues, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, and self-esteem concerns. In my practice, I take a flexible and individualized approach, meeting each client where they are and tailoring interventions to fit their unique needs and goals. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and empowered to grow. I also bring years of experience working with individuals and partners involved in ethical non-monogamy, kink, and lifestyle communities. I approach this work with openness, cultural competence, and respect, ensuring clients feel safe discussing their identities, relationships, and experiences without fear of stigma.
