New to Grow
Welcome ! I’m an LCSW & a PhD who has worked for over 20 years helping people dream again. I work with individuals and couples to navigate life’s challenges, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful change. I am interested in the unique story each person brings to therapy. Drawing from many different practice perspectives, I help clients better understand themselves, work through difficult emotions, and break free from unhelpful patterns. Therapy is a place to grow and envision yourself becoming your best self.
Your first session, like all that follows is all about you. It is an opportunity for me to get to know you as a person—not just the problems that brought you to therapy, but your experiences, relationships, strengths, hopes, and concerns. You don’t need to prepare anything or have everything figured out beforehand. We will begin wherever feels most important to you and explore what is happening in your life right now, what may be standing in your way, and what you would like to be different.
I bring warmth, curiosity, and more than two decades of clinical experience to my work. Clients often tell me they feel deeply heard, understood, and accepted in our sessions. I combine insight, practical guidance, and genuine compassion to help people navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I work best with adults who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, family conflict, or questions about identity and purpose. They may feel stuck in recurring patterns, overwhelmed by current circumstances, or simply ready to grow in new ways. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or looking for greater self-awareness and fulfillment, I offer a thoughtful, collaborative space where we can explore what matters most and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

I identify as
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed interventions to help clients identify and understand the different “parts” of themselves that may hold conflicting emotions, beliefs, needs, or protective strategies. I help clients develop curiosity and compassion toward these internal experiences rather than judging or suppressing them. Through this process, clients gain insight into how protective parts, vulnerable parts, and core emotional wounds influence their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships. The goal is to increase self-leadership, emotional regulation, self-compassion, and internal harmony while reducing distress and reactivity.
