(she/her)
Helping the strong ones heal, grow, and choose themselves. If you’ve been the one holding everything together for everyone else while feeling overwhelmed inside, you don’t have to carry it alone anymore. My style is warm, direct, and intentional. I will support you while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck, so you can create real, meaningful change in your daily life. I work with individuals who are used to being strong, dependable, and resilient, but are now feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck, or unsure how to move forward.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step and it’s okay to feel unsure. Our first session is focused on getting to know you, what’s been going on, and what you want to work toward. There is no pressure to share everything at once. You’ll leave with more clarity, support, and a sense of direction, not overwhelm.
-Creating a space where you feel truly seen and understood -Balancing support with honest, helpful feedback -Helping you connect patterns and build real-life tools
I work best with individuals who are ready for growth, even if they don’t feel fully ready yet. Many of my clients are used to being “the strong one,” but are now feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and misunderstood. Strong people deserve support as well! If you’re open to reflecting, building new skills, and making meaningful changes, we may be a strong fit. I offer evening appointments to support busy schedules. If you’re ready to begin showing up for yourself in a new way, I would be honored to support you.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I approach therapy with an understanding that culture, identity, and life experiences play a significant role in how we think, feel, and navigate the world. I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and take care to create a space that is respectful, inclusive, and mindful of your unique experiences. I do not make assumptions, I take the time to listen and understand what matters most to you. Together, we can explore how your background, values, and experiences impact your life, relationships, and overall well-being in a way that feels supportive and aligned with who you are.
Trauma Informed Care
I approach therapy through a trauma-informed scope, understanding that past experiences can impact how you feel, respond, and relate to others. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe and supported. There is never pressure to share more than you are ready for, and we move at a pace that feels right for you. I focus on helping you feel grounded and in control before exploring deeper experiences. My goal is to support your healing in a way that feels manageable, empowering, and not overwhelming.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we will identify patterns such as overthinking, negative self-talk, or self-doubt, and work toward developing more balanced and supportive ways of thinking. You’ll gain practical tools to manage stress, improve your mood, and respond differently to challenges so you’re not just gaining insight, but real-life skills
Positive Psychology
I incorporate positive psychology to help you build on your strengths and create a more fulfilling and meaningful life. This isn’t about ignoring difficulties, it’s about helping you recognize your resilience, shift your mindset, and develop habits that support growth, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Eclectic
I take an eclectic and individualized approach to therapy, meaning I tailor our work together to your specific needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. I integrate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and positive psychology to support both healing and growth. This allows us to better understand patterns, process experiences safely, and build practical tools you can use in your daily life. Therapy with me is not just about talking, it’s about gaining insight, building skills, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

Rachel was genuinely concerned with my mental health. She listened to my concerned and shared tools to practice and live by. She's also a Mother, so she could relate well, understanding my concerns.

I saw others' reviews and felt like I needed someone who is warm and embracing, especially when I feel I'm at my worst or most vulnerable. She went out of her way to make me feel safe and supported.
