Hi, I’m Cecilia Navarro, a licensed mental health therapist located in Southern California. I am passionate about helping women navigate the emotional ups and downs of motherhood, work-life balance, complicated family dynamics, and relationships, especially when guilt, burnout, or estrangement are part of the story. I also work closely with young adults and professionals who are overwhelmed by expectations, burnout, and anxiety struggles as they figure out who they are and what they want in life. I'm passionate about mental health and want to help you live a fulfilling daily life whether it's your first time in therapy or returning to therapy.
The first session is all about getting to know you, no pressure, no need to have it all figured out. Think of it as a conversation, not a test. We’ll start by going over some basics: what brought you in, what you’ve been going through lately, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, this is your space, and we move at your pace. I may ask some questions about your background, relationships, work, family, and any past experiences that feel important. This helps me get a better understanding of your story and how we can work together in a way that feels supportive and meaningful for you. You’re also welcome to ask me any questions! Therapy is a collaborative process, and it’s important that you feel safe, heard, and understood. By the end of our first session, we’ll talk about what future sessions might look like and decide on a direction that feels right for you. It’s okay if you’re nervous as many people are. Just showing up is a huge step toward healing.
Whether you're holding it all together on the outside while crumbling on the inside, or you're simply tired of carrying the emotional load alone, I’m here to help. My approach is warm, real, and grounded in creating a safe space where you can feel seen without judgment. I am laid back and there to listen to you during every session. I don't come in with my own agenda or run the show. It is your time, and you decide what you would like to talk about in session. I keep an open mind to situations without judgement. I am very understanding/ accommodating. Let's talk about what is important to you. Let me help you and give you a new perspective
Whether you're a new mom feeling overwhelmed, a professional juggling way too much, or someone healing from a painful mother-daughter relationship, you're not alone and you don't have to carry it all by yourself. I create a safe, judgment-free space where we can unpack what’s weighing on you and reconnect you with your strength, boundaries, and self-worth.
