About me

I believe healing happens when you feel safe, understood, and empowered. I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 14 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, women's issues, infertility, and spiritual struggles. My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic, blending evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness while honoring each client's values and goals. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, I'll meet you with compassion and practical tools to help you move forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another in a relaxed, judgment-free environment. I'll ask questions about what brought you to therapy, your personal history, what's working well, and the challenges you're currently facing. We'll discuss your goals, answer any questions you have about the therapy process, and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to create a balance of compassion and accountability. Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to, while also appreciating that I gently challenge unhelpful patterns when needed. With over 14 years of clinical experience, I've worked with people through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, infertility, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I believe therapy should be practical, personalized, and collaborative—not one-size-fits-all. Together we'll build on your strengths, develop effective coping skills, and work toward lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms. For clients who desire it, I'm also able to thoughtfully integrate faith into the counseling process while respecting each person's beliefs and preferences.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is an adult who feels overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in a season of transition. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, infertility, women's issues, or questions about their identity, purpose, or faith. Many have spent so much time caring for others that they've lost sight of themselves. They don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy—they simply need a willingness to take the first step. Together, we'll create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can gain insight, develop practical coping skills, and build a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and aligned with your values.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I offer Christian counseling for clients who want to incorporate their faith into the therapy process. Rather than assuming faith is the focus, I tailor each session to your preferences, integrating biblical principles, prayer, scripture, and spiritual exploration when desired. My goal is to provide evidence-based care that supports your emotional well-being while honoring and strengthening your relationship with God.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps identify the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll recognize unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges. I use CBT in a practical, collaborative way, giving you tools and strategies you can apply outside of sessions to create lasting change.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you stop struggling against difficult thoughts and emotions so you can focus on living a meaningful, values-driven life. Instead of trying to eliminate uncomfortable feelings, we'll build skills to accept them with greater flexibility while taking intentional steps toward the life you want. I use ACT to help clients become less controlled by anxiety, self-doubt, and fear, and more connected to what matters most.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Therapy helps you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without judgment. I incorporate mindfulness techniques to help clients reduce stress, manage anxiety, improve emotional regulation, and stay grounded in the present moment. These skills can increase self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and create space to respond thoughtfully rather than react automatically.
