Hello and welcome! I’m Beth, and I’m so glad you’re here taking this important first step toward self-care. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. You may be feeling a loss of motivation, overwhelmed by emotions, or worried about a child. Whatever challenges you’re facing, I believe EVERYONE deserves to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can face challenges, find empowerment, and build a sense of security to move forward with confidence. As a highly sensitive and empathetic person, I deeply value compassion and authenticity. As a wife and mother of two young adults, we definitely have our moments of driving each other a little crazy! I find my balance by spending time outdoors and enjoying plenty of chocolate!!! The tools and strategies I share with my clients are ones I’ve personally used, and my experiences as a therapist, educator, mother, wife, daughter, and friend allow me to connect as a genuine and relatable ally in the therapeutic process. Before becoming a counselor, I spent 20 years teaching in Philadelphia, working with students who often faced significant emotional and mental health challenges. During that time, I witnessed how the education system prioritized academics over addressing these deeper struggles. Over time, I came to realize that my true calling was to support children on a more personal level, which inspired me to pursue my degree in mental health counseling and begin the work I’m so passionate about today. As an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, I’m deeply committed to advocating for children who aren’t getting the support they need. I also find it incredibly meaningful when adult clients share that they’ve always felt something was “off,” only to later discover that ADHD may have played a role in their experiences.
From the very first session, my clients come to know that they will be genuinely heard and valued. Together, we start by exploring their goals and discussing their concerns and expectations for therapy. Clients soon realize that I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel validated and supported, reassured that no problem is ever “too big” or “too small” to find relief. I believe in fostering open, meaningful communication and creating an atmosphere built on trust and safety. My goal is to equip clients with the tools they need to embrace independence and feel empowered. I also incorporate laughter into the therapeutic process when appropriate, as it can be a powerful way to ease stress and anxiety.
My background in mental health is wide-ranging. I’ve worked in a hospital setting supporting children and adults in active crisis, provided care and advocacy for domestic violence survivors both in a women’s shelter and through a crisis hotline, and gained extensive experience in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for teens and adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. My approach to therapy is primarily cognitive, viewed through a holistic lens. I integrate a variety of theories, strategies, and tools to support to each individual’s unique needs. Anxiety and depression run in my own family, so I understand firsthand how debilitating they can feel. While some believe that unmet needs in childhood permanently define us, I don’t subscribe to that view. From my personal experience and work with clients, I’ve seen that healing and growth are possible, even those who begin feeling skeptical or hopeless often find that, with commitment and support, meaningful positive change can occur.
I love working with individuals who recognize that therapy is a collaborative process and that meaningful change requires active participation. I especially value clients who understand that their progress depends on applying the tools they learn, reflecting on patterns, and practicing new skills. True growth takes consistency, openness, and effort, and while it can sometimes feel uncomfortable, it’s often within that discomfort that healing and transformation occur. The more you invest in the process, the more lasting and significant your results will be. Many of my clients come to me carrying experiences of trauma, seeking healing and a sense of freedom. I am also a passionate advocate for individuals with ADHD, supporting both children and adults who suspect they may be experiencing symptoms.
My approach to therapy leans toward cognitive, but through a holistic lens. I incorporate numerous other theories, strategies, and tools to meet everyone’s personal needs.

I don’t know what I did before Beth. I was unhappy and lost in a sea of anxiety. She helped me find myself and figure out ways to live happier and healthier. I’m so glad to have her in my corner.
