Hi there! I'm glad you are here. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Master's in Counseling from California State University Fullerton and have been practicing for 6 years. I help clients of all ages manage the various challenges of life by exploring their true selves and working towards achieving their full potential.
In our first session, we'll begin with introductions and then we'll discuss what brings you to therapy and what you're hoping to accomplish. We'll then work together to come up with goals and objectives
In the 6 years I've been practicing, I've developed a strong ability to create a safe space for clients so that they can fully be their authentic selves. I am adept at establishing a strong therapeutic alliance and rapport where clients feel comfortable, heard, and seen.
I love working with a wide variety of client populations and believe that each age and stage in life presents unique challenges. I see these challenges as opportunities to grow and develop into the best version of oneself.
I believe in the inherent goodness of people and will create a safe environment for you to explore personal beliefs and experiences with empathy and acceptance. My humanistic approach will help you gain insight and clarity, which will allow you to recognize your strengths and potential. Together, we will set and work towards goals that align with your personal values.
I consistently use CBT in my practice and find that it is very effective in helping clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. We’ll work collaboratively to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. With this knowledge, I will help you develop new skills to manage stress, anxiety, and other challenges.
I use attachment therapy to help the client identify and understand their attachment patterns and how these patterns manifest in their current relationships. In order to do this, I establish a secure, supportive, and empathetic therapeutic relationship with my clients to provide a feeling of safety when exploring past and current relationship dynamics. I work together with my clients to develop and practice new relational skills and coping strategies that promote greater self-awareness and self-compassion.
