My name is Claudia Walker Lewis, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where your experiences are heard, validated, and respected. My holistic, evidence-based approach blends thoughtful medication management with supportive therapy, creating a personalized treatment plan that fosters balance, growth, and genuine healing. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to take an active role in your mental wellness journey.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding your needs. This usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. We’ll talk about your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, past treatments, and any goals or concerns you have about medication. I’ll answer your questions, explain how medications work, and discuss options that may be a good fit for you. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels collaborative, informed, and supportive of your overall well-being.
My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive, person-centered care. I take time to truly listen and understand each individual’s experiences before making treatment recommendations. Clients often appreciate that our work together feels collaborative and grounded in education, compassion, and respect. My goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and supported—so your treatment fits you, not the other way around
I work best with individuals seeking a balanced approach to mental health care that integrates medication management with supportive, collaborative conversation. Many of my clients experience anxiety, depression, mood changes, or trauma-related symptoms and want to better understand how medication can support their overall well-being. I especially enjoy working with clients who value open communication, education about their treatment options, and a partnership approach to finding what works best for them. Please note: I do not prescribe sedatives, controlled substances, or stimulant medications. My approach focuses on evidence-based, non-controlled treatments and collaborative care to support long-term mental health.
Supportive
Supportive therapy focuses on providing a safe, understanding space where you can explore challenges and build on your strengths. My role is to listen, offer encouragement, and help you develop practical tools to manage stress and emotions, so you feel more grounded and supported in daily life.
