New to Grow
I am a compassionate and thoughtful therapist who values collaboration and consistency as essential parts of meaningful progress in therapy. I have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan—from early childhood through older adulthood—and I am deeply grateful for the trust each client brings into the therapeutic space. I believe therapy works best when it is a shared process, grounded in curiosity, respect, and flexibility.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session, we will focus on what you are seeking support for in therapy which may include identification of problems or areas of concern and goals you may have related to these areas. You are welcome to share information that feels comfortable and relevant to what it is that you are seeking support for at this time in your life.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
While I really value the collaboration between client and therapist, I think that the structure I try to support in therapy can be helpful in guiding clients towards the goals they want to accomplish.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is motivated, engaged, and open to the therapeutic process—even when it feels challenging. You may be seeking relief from distress, greater self-understanding, or support in creating a more balanced and fulfilling life. Together, we work toward reducing distress and building a life with more clarity, flexibility, connection, and joy.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have been using CBT in my practice over the last 20 years but have been more focused in my CBT training over the last 12 years. After participating in numerous trainings and completing a thorough evaluation, I became certified as a diplomat of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and went on to coach and train other therapists in CBT since that time.
