About me

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, I am here to help guide you through your mental health journey. Have you been feeling anxious, depressed, 'feeling stuck', not motivated, lack some confidence, self control, or wanting to explore and heal your childhood trauma or relationship trauma? I believe I am qualified with the education and personal experience to support you and walk with you through your journey. My number one priority is to be consistent in showing up, while providing compassion, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and psychoeducation to my clients. I have experience in a number of modalities, and pull from many to cater to your needs (CBT, Solution-Focused, Trauma-based, Motivational Interviewing, Psychoanalysis, to name a few).

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

After the initial appointment with gathering as much information regarding your concerns and your goals, I'd like to take time to praise you for taking this step in your mental wellness journey. I like to start light, unless client's want to dive into the deep end right away.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Laughter is truly a release and cure, so I bring this to my sessions and find that my clients appreciate this. With a safe and nonjudgmental space, I assist my clients with processing their emotions and thoughts, gain control through cognitive coping and restructuring, mindfulness, and increase confidence in themselves.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is ready to confront the root cause of their cognitive distortions; ready to self advocate; and ready to heal. This doesn't meant the journey will be easy, but allow the experience to challenge you and grow you outside of your comfort zone!
