I am a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with an absolute passion for helping others navigate life, to find as much joy and comfort as possible. I offer compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based support for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply seeking a partner in creating healthier, more balanced rhythms. With over 25 years of experience across primary care, mental health, and family wellness, my approach is deeply person-centered—meeting you where you are and aligning care with your goals. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Felician University, my Master’s in Family Health Nursing and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Nova Southeastern University, and a post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Regis College. I’ve been honored by Who’s Who in New Jersey and Who’s Who in America, and I am a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Board of Nursing Specialties, and the National League for Nursing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our initial visit focuses on getting to know your full story — not just the medical chart. We explore your concerns, health history, emotional wellness, daily routines, and the vision you have for your life and health. From there, I create a personalized plan that may include: Primary care support Mental health and emotional wellness coaching Lifestyle and nutrition guidance Parenting or family support Faith-centered care upon request Tools for stress management, resilience, and emotional regulation Follow-up visits track progress, adjust your plan as needed, and ensure you feel supported and empowered. My goal is to help you build skills, confidence, and clarity that last long after each appointment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

You can expect a warm, non-judgmental space rooted in connection, transparency, and whole-person care. I take time to understand your health, lifestyle, relationships, stressors, and goals so we can create a plan that truly supports your life — not just your symptoms. I honor every individual’s beliefs, background, and pace. Whether you want strictly clinical care or a more integrative, faith-aligned approach, we tailor each step to your comfort and needs. Healing is not rushed; it is cultivated through trust, clarity, and consistent partnership.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral concerns with poor coping skills, mood changes, or navigating difficult life transitions. Often they want clarity, emotional balance, and practical tools to manage stress while still caring for their families, careers, and responsibilities. My clients are looking for compassionate, knowledgeable guidance and a partner who truly listens while helping them move toward a healthier, more stable, and fulfilling life. I provide evidence-based psychiatric care combined with a holistic approach that considers the whole person. With over 25 years in healthcare, I support adults through medication management, mental health care, lifestyle guidance, and emotional wellness coaching through convenient virtual visits designed to meet your unique needs. You don’t have to face stress, anxiety, or life’s challenges alone. I provide a warm, judgment-free space, combining clinical expertise with personal insight from overcoming life’s struggles, so together we can create a plan that helps you feel seen, understood, and empowered.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients stop fighting their thoughts and emotions and instead learn how to move forward with them in a healthier way. Together, we focus on building psychological flexibility—so you can stay grounded, reconnect with your values, and make meaningful choices even in the middle of stress, anxiety, or depression. My approach is compassionate, practical, and empowering, helping you create real change in your life without needing everything to feel “perfect” first.

Child Parent Psychotherapy

I use Child–Parent Therapy to strengthen the connection between children and their caregivers, creating a safe and supportive foundation for emotional growth. Through guided interactions, I help parents better understand their child’s behaviors, improve communication, and respond in ways that build trust, security, and resilience. This approach not only supports the child’s emotional and behavioral needs but also empowers parents with tools to confidently navigate challenges together.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that impact their emotions and behaviors. Together, we work on developing practical strategies to reframe thinking, improve coping skills, and create healthier habits. This approach is structured, goal-oriented, and effective in helping you gain control over anxiety, depression, and everyday stressors.

Couples Counseling

I provide couples counseling to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and navigate conflict in a healthy, constructive way. Together, we identify patterns that may be causing disconnection and work toward deeper understanding, respect, and emotional safety. My approach is supportive and solution-focused, helping couples strengthen their relationship and grow together.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences in a safe, structured, and supportive way. This approach helps you understand how trauma impacts your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthy coping skills and reducing distress. Together, we work at your pace to restore a sense of safety, strength, and control in your life.
