LPCC (she/her)13 years of experience

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S), I specialize in providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals navigating emotional distress, trauma, relationship challenges, and body based disorders. With specialized experience and advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed yoga, and somatic therapy, I help clients heal themselves from past trauma, encourage the cultivation of healthier relationships, and assist in finding a connection with their bodies. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and somatic practices, I help clients to address the complex relationship between the body and the mind in a safe, nurturing environment. This approach honors each client's unique experience and emphasizes healing at their own pace, offering both talk therapy and yoga-based strategies to create a balanced, integrated path to recovery. In addition to my clinical expertise, I am deeply committed to lifelong learning and professional development. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health, am licensed in the state of Ohio, and participate regularly in continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in the mental health field. I believe in the power of therapy to foster lasting change, and I work collaboratively with each client to create a personalized treatment plan that promotes growth, self-awareness, and emotional resilience. Whether you are seeking healing from trauma, improving your emotional well-being, or reconnect the body and mind, I am here to support you on your journey toward greater balance and fulfillment by providing a safe and non-judgmental space for healing and growth.

First session

Our first session will be a full one. I take the time to get to know your background thoroughly, including family background, work/education history, medical background, and more. Together we will investigate what brings you to therapy through explanation of your symptoms, useful and not useful coping skills, and your goals for therapy in order to create a plan moving forward that is personalized to your needs and wants.

Strengths

My approach is the integrative of evidence-based methods like EMDR, DBT, ERP, and somatic work to support both symptom relief and deeper, lasting change. I balance structured, skills-based strategies with a warm, attuned, and client-centered style. I also emphasize the mind-body connection, helping clients build awareness and regulate their nervous system so they can feel more grounded, resilient, and connected in their daily lives.

Ideal clients

I am best positioned to support individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, and OCD who are motivated to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. I work well with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, and are open to both practical skill-building and deeper emotional processing. I also incorporate somatic approaches to help clients strengthen the mind-body connection, increase awareness of physical sensations, and build nervous system regulation. Many of my clients are seeking not only symptom relief, but also improved emotional balance, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self.

Treatment methods

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR and use it to help clients process trauma and reduce distressing symptoms. I take a structured, client-centered approach that includes preparation, resourcing, and guided reprocessing using bilateral stimulation. I integrate EMDR with mindfulness and coping strategies to support lasting emotional healing and resilience.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and use it to support clients in building skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. I take a structured, skills-based approach while maintaining a validating, client-centered stance to help clients create meaningful, lasting change in their daily lives.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients understand and process emotions, strengthen relationships, and shift unhelpful patterns. My approach is client-centered and attachment-focused, helping clients identify core needs, build emotional awareness, and create more secure, meaningful connections with themselves and others.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients manage OCD and anxiety by gradually facing fears while reducing avoidance and compulsive behaviors. I take a structured, supportive approach, collaborating with clients to build tolerance to distress and develop more adaptive responses, leading to lasting symptom reduction and improved functioning.

Somatic

I use somatic-based approaches to help clients increase awareness of the mind-body connection and release stored stress and tension. My approach incorporates grounding, breathwork, and body-based techniques to support nervous system regulation, improve emotional processing, and promote a greater sense of safety and balance.
