About me

Hi, I’m Brittany, a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania. I believe that everyone has the capacity for healing and growth, but without the right support, life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. In therapy, my goal is to guide and support you as you move toward healing, balance, and your fullest potential. I take a holistic approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. While many therapy styles focus on just one area, I integrate all three to help address the root of your struggles and create lasting change. Sometimes, this even includes movement in session to help process deep emotions stored in the body. Clients often describe my sessions as safe, supportive, and relaxed. I provide a nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, while also encouraging you to explore new perspectives and growth. I specialize in trauma/PTSD, anxiety, and OCD, and I also work with couples experiencing marital strain or affairs. In addition, I support individuals managing chronic illness/pain, parenting, and major life transitions. I’m trained in EMDR, CBT, I-CBT, EXRP, DBT, somatic therapy, and the Gottman Method. You don’t need to know these approaches ahead of time—I’ll recommend what best fits your needs, and together we’ll build a personalized treatment plan around your goals. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and dog, reading, traveling, going to concerts or comedy shows, and reading the bible. It’s an honor to walk alongside clients in their mental health journeys. Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or continuing your path, I provide a safe and structured space to process emotions, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and build skills for long-term healing and growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will do an intake. I'm sensitive to the intake process in that I don't want it to feel like an interrogation. We will take our time and get to know one another. I'll invite you to ask questions about me and the therapeutic process. We will explore your history and create therapeutic goals so that you are sure to receive the service you are boldly and courageously taking a step towards. Go you!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is my absolute desire to see you beat your obstacles. I know that a one-fit therapy approach is not the best approach. I cater to what my clients need and I check in often to see are they getting what they came to get out of therapy. I am holistic in my approach, I analyze your mind-body-spirit connection and always pull in insightful questions that allow you to make the insights. My therapy is mostly structured, I offer tons of resources and I aim to make what you learned or experienced in therapy transferable to your daily life and interactions. My final super power is going through the hard knocks of life myself, I offer my personal experience and how I've handled some really difficult experiences and how I bounced back each time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client wants to heal from trauma, anxiety, OCD, get more in touch with their bodies through somatic work and go beyond to functioning at their highest potential.
