I became a mental health provider out of a desire to find a profession helping people. After a late diagnosis with ADHD as an adult myself I learned on a very personal level the gaps in mental health for women. I feel very passionate about being a safe space and helping individuals walk through their journey to find a path forward, where they can find hope. I have worked in public schools providing therapy for children and I’ve also worked for a large hospital system providing group classes and individual therapy. I love private practice now because I can tailor my practice to best help my clients!
Our first session will be an opportunity for me to hear what is bringing you into therapy, your history and we will together create a plan to best meet your needs. This will take one or two sessions depending on what you need. After that we will move forward with working on your goals and getting the support you need. My style is typically very solution focused and I love helping clients create a plan, but I’m always ready to tailor sessions to meet my client’s needs, we all move at a different pace and need different things at different points in life, whether that is being focused on goals or just needing a safe place to talk, I’m here for you. I love working with clients who are sincere and ready for change.
With both personal and professional experience, I can help you navigate the overwhelm, anxiety and stress that often comes with ADHD and other mental health concerns. Doing so authentically and with genuine care I would say are my greatest strengths. I approach each session with the care I would want to receive as a client.
Currently I’m seeking additional training regarding ADHD, Anxiety and body work for helping with anxiety or trauma. Supporting women’s mental health and wellbeing is a key focus of my practice. In addition, I love finding ways to incorporate nature and all the benefits it provides for mental health. I love working with women who have ADHD and were possibly diagnosed in adulthood and need some help navigating the journey.
