Welcome! I'm Diana. Bienvenido! Me llamo Diana. Are you a woman balancing school, work, and/or personal challenges? Do relationship struggles, work stress, trauma or family issues weigh on you? You’re not alone. I specialize in supporting women like you who are advancing their career or education. In addition I support step-parents/parents navigate co-parenting, court complexities, and blending families after divorce. If you're a newly divorced parent or part of a blended family, I can help you manage the challenges of creating a new family dynamic. Let’s build a personalized plan to help you meet your goals and thrive. I have experience working with children, adolescents, individuals and families. I have worked in a school setting, community mental health and in private practice. I use an integrative therapy approach using various tools and forms of therapy such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy in my practice. Congratulations on taking this first step on starting your therapy journey. Whether you are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, a life transition, family issues, self esteem, etc..I am here to help. You are not alone! With me, you are always welcome and have a safe space to be who you are. We will create a space together where you can heal and grow.
In our first session, we’ll begin by discussing your story, exploring what you hope to accomplish, and working together to set your goals for therapy. Collaboration is key, so we’ll create a plan that aligns with your needs and priorities. My focus is on building a safe and comfortable space where you can feel at ease, as we establish our therapeutic relationship and lay the foundation for our work together.
My biggest strengths as a clinician are my compassion and ability to connect with others. I believe it is important to work together as a team with my clients as they are the experts in their life.
I would love to work with women who are balancing college, their careers, relationships and/or children. I also enjoy working with step parents who are navigating the complexities of co- parenting/parenting and managing the challenges of creating a new family dynamic.
I use CBT as a skill that my clients can learn to use outside of session to help manage their symptoms of anxiety and depression.
