You are not broken. To heal the patterns that keep us in a cycle of unhappiness, we first need to strengthen our relationship with ourselves. This is where we will begin the healing work together. I work collaboratively with those who are seeking personal healing and growth in their lives. I am skilled in cultivating a safe, nurturing, and non-judgmental space to support you in moving from pain and suffering, to healing and freedom. You deserve support through life's challenges. I am here to empower and guide you to build a secure loving relationship with yourself and end the cycle of self-abandonment. My compassionate, heart-centered approach will help you restore an embodied sense of connection, belonging, and confidence to meet life’s challenges. Life is hard, but you are not helpless & there is every reason to hope. I will help you face adversity, build resiliency, & deepen your relationship with yourself. You can discover how to reconnect with your body, trust your intuition, & make peace with your past. Don't punish yourself for how you acted out your pain when you were in survival mode.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session with me as your therapist, conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your background, current concerns, and the specific challenges you are facing. This may involve discussing your history, relationships, and any symptoms related to trauma, attachment issues, depression, or low self-esteem. Together, we'll discuss your goals for therapy. Whether it's improving mood, building self-esteem, or addressing specific trauma-related issues, your input will guide our focus. Throughout this process, my approach is rooted in creating a non-judgmental and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Our work together will be based on mutual collaboration, respect, and a commitment to your well-being and growth.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am experienced in helping individuals heal from trauma & painful past experiences, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, negative relationship & attachment patterns, and women’s issues. If you struggle with overwhelming emotions, I can provide tools to help you achieve significant changes in your ability to manage distress and self-soothe.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is particularly useful for individuals struggling with emotion dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, and self-destructive behaviors. By incorporating mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills, DBT helps clients develop healthier coping mechanisms, improve their emotional well-being, and enhance their relationships. Through DBT, clients gain practical tools to navigate life's challenges, foster resilience, and ultimately achieve a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapeutic approach that empowers clients by addressing the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT helps clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, replacing them with more balanced and constructive perspectives. By fostering self-awareness and providing practical tools, CBT enables clients to manage stress, anxiety, and depression effectively.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a transformative approach that helps clients explore and understand the different parts of their inner selves. By acknowledging and embracing these internal aspects, clients can navigate their emotions, behaviors, and beliefs more effectively. Through guided introspection and dialogue, clients can build a harmonious relationship with their internal parts, fostering self-compassion and emotional healing. This process enables clients to navigate life challenges with greater self-awareness, resilience, and a deeper connection to their authentic selves.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Trauma-informed care in therapy provides a sensitive and supportive framework for clients who have experienced trauma. Therapists trained in this approach prioritize the client's autonomy, choice, and empowerment, allowing them to navigate the healing process at their own pace. Through a trauma-informed lens, therapy aims to minimize retraumatization, promote resilience, and facilitate meaningful recovery, acknowledging the profound impact trauma can have on mental health and well-being.
