I am an LMCH in the state of Florida and an LPC in the states of Georgia, South Carolina, and Arizona. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2009. I am progressive in the therapy approaches I utilize and am partial to modalities that are evidence-based and well researched, such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM), and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). I am directive and solution-oriented in my clinical style. I strongly believe in providing an accepting space that is free of judgment and welcomes vulnerability. In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we will complete an anxiety, depression, and PTSD assessment for the purpose of obtaining a baseline of symptoms. We will also explore the negative core beliefs that have resulted from a history of trauma. If time permits or if the client is in need of regulating their feelings, we will close the session with the use of an emotion regulation skill that the client can then use outside of and in between sessions for the purpose of regulating trauma related symptoms.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am comfortable in meeting clients where they are, but am also very comfortable holding space for a multitude of feelings. I am passionate about helping clients who are haunted by trauma release the burdens associated with those wounds so I am constantly augmenting my training so I have multiple modalities to assist my clients with.

I am passionate about working with adults who present with a history of unresolved trauma that has resulted in feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, shame, attachment issues, and relational difficulties.
EMDR
I was trained in EMDR by EMDRIA in 2012. I employ the use of EMDR daily in my clinical practice as I specialize in trauma resolution.
Trauma Informed Care
I employ multiple modalities that are utilized to resolve a history of trauma, including: EMDR, Image Transformation, Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories, and Emotional Freedom Technique.
Attachment-based
I incorporate attachment theory into my clinical practice as one's attachment style is shaped by one's relational experiences and presents with a high probability of being insecure if one has experienced a history of trauma.
Grief Therapy
I possess a multitude of years assisting clients in healing grief related symptoms such as shock, sadness, anger, depression with the use of EMDR and Image Transformation.
