I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, parenting, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we’ll identify practical tools, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful, lasting change so you can feel more confident in your everyday life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so my goal is to make our first session comfortable and relaxed. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, exploring what brought you to therapy, and discussing what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and challenges, and together we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that fits your goals. You can expect a supportive, judgment-free environment where you can share at your own pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is building genuine, trusting relationships with my clients. I combine compassion with practical, evidence-based strategies to help you better understand yourself and develop skills you can use outside of therapy. I strive to make each session feel supportive, engaging, and personalized to your unique needs. Whether you’re facing anxiety, ADHD, grief, parenting challenges, or major life changes, my goal is to help you leave each session feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with tools to move forward.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is one who is navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety or grief and is open to exploring their thoughts, emotions and behaviors in a supportive and collaborative environment. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the next steps in their life but are ready to engage in the process of self reflection and growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive behavioral therapy to empower clients by helping them understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Throughout my 14 years of being a therapist I have used CBT to address a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress and trauma.

Grief Therapy

My seven years of hospice social work experience has provided me with extensive exposure to grief therapy, including supporting individuals and families through the emotional, physical and spiritual challenges of loss. By integrating my social work expertise with grief therapy principals, I can help clients navigate the complex emotions of loss, develop coping strategies and rebuild their sense of purpose.

Motivational Interviewing

I have used motivational interviewing to support clients facing significant challenges, such as managing chronic illness, coping with grief or navigating life transitions. By creating a supportive and collaborative space, I have worked with clients to explore their hesitations about change and uncover what truly motivates them.
