New to Grow
Welcome. I am a licensed psychologist, in both the District of Columbia and Maryland, dedicated to helping individuals overcome trauma, manage depression, anxiety or other emotional challenges. My practice provides a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgemental environment where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and develop practical skills for lasting emotional well-being. Using evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions, I work alongside clients to help them achieve meaningful and sustainable change.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a collaborative working relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, the concerns or goals that are most important to you, and any relevant personal, medical, or emotional history that will help me understand your experience. I will also explain how I approach therapy, answer any questions you have about the process, and review important topics such as confidentiality, its limits, and office practice policies. Together we'll begin identifying goals for treatment and discuss possible next steps.
Every person's story is complex, and no two paths to healing are the same. After years of working with diverse individuals facing a wide range of psychiatric and life challenges, I've learned to look beyond symptoms and see the person behind them. I bring a trained clinical eye, genuine curiosity, and unwavering respect for your resilience-helping you make sense of where you've been and chart a path toward where you want to go.
Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches, I help individuals at different levels of change/motivation experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mood-related concerns develop practical life skills to manage symptoms, build resilience, and improve emotional well-being. Therapy is tailored to your unique needs, providing a supportive and collaborative space for healing, growth, and lasting change that is client centered.

I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Healing begins with understanding, and change begins with action. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related challenges develop healthier ways of thinking, coping and responding to life's difficulties. Together, we can build the tools and confidence needed to support long-term emotional health and recovery.
