About me

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, licensed in Georgia. I have over 3 years of experience. I believe in treating the entire patient and not just the symptoms. It is important to discover the root cause. I think that therapy and medication are a combo that can really help improve mental health drastically. I want my clients to feel in control of their journey to wellness.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session will be an hour, and I will learn more about you and your background. This will be the time that diagnoses are developed (or developing). I will learn about your goals, and what you are wanting to achieve with treatment. Then, we will work together to formulate a plan to help you reach those goals. I do not prescribe stimulants or benzodiazepines. I do prescribe alternatives to these medications that are not habit forming.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I think that listening is such an important aspect of this process. I want you to feel heard, and I want to understand you better. I will be honest, and I ask the same of my client. You can not improve if you are not open and honest with yourself.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have years of experience helping patients with anxiety and depression. I specialize in women's health, and we can work together to help understand how changes in your body can affect your mood. A holistic approach is important, and I believe in using alternative therapies, if the client is wanting to try something other than medication.

Wonderful provider. I feel like she actually listens to me and works to develop treatment plans to fit my lifestyle. She is first one to help me try to get to a more holistic approach for my issues. Very easy to talk to.

Jennifer has been great to work with so far! My intake session was very comprehensive and I really felt like my concerns and goals were listened to. I also like that she recommends supplements in addition to working on finding the medication that works for me.
