I am a licensed clinical social worker based in Philadelphia, PA. I have 8 years of experience working in mental health and addiction with folks with PTSD, bipolar I and II, depression, and anxiety who struggle with substance abuse disorders. I view addiction as a symptom of a deeper issue, and can assist with providing tools for growing and learning to manage these types of challenges. I maintain an empathetic, and compassion driven approach that is non-judgmental. I look forward to getting to you know you providing a non-judgmental space for exploring these issues.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

Gaining insight on your relationships between yourself and others, and the outside world, and helping folks to understand these relationships can assist with moving past feeling "stuck" in life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Understanding that thoughts can influence behaviors, and exploring how our beliefs and thought processes can impact our lives can be helpful to better understanding ourselves which can eventually lead to change. Mindfulness can be a useful tool to being able to accept our emotions as they are rather than "good" or "bad".
