About me

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help individuals navigate life’s challenges and heal from the effects of stress, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties. My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized to each person’s needs. I draw from EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness-based techniques to support emotional healing and self-discovery. I believe that with the right support, everyone has the ability to find balance, strength, and meaning in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. I’ll ask some questions to learn more about what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you’d like to change or understand better. We’ll talk about your goals and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—this session moves at your pace and is focused on helping you feel comfortable and supported.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership. My approach is centered around you—your experiences, values, and goals. Clients often describe me as compassionate, grounded, and easy to talk to. I use client-centered techniques to help you explore challenges at your own pace, discover your strengths, and find new ways to create the changes you want in your life. My role is to guide, support, and empower you—not to judge or dictate what healing “should” look like.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in mental health treatment for individuals seeking healing, growth, and emotional well-being. My clinical approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and strengths-based, integrating evidence-based modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices. I am dedicated to helping clients process past experiences, manage current stressors, and build tools for resilience and self-empowerment. My goal is to create a collaborative, safe, and supportive space where each person feels heard and equipped to move toward lasting change.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

As a mental health therapist, I integrate trauma-informed care principles into every aspect of my practice. I recognize that trauma can profoundly affect how individuals think, feel, and engage in relationships and treatment. My approach emphasizes safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment, and choice, ensuring that each client feels respected and in control of their healing process.

EMDR

As a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist, I integrate EMDR into my practice to help clients process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. Using a structured eight-phase approach, I guide clients through identifying target memories, reprocessing associated thoughts and emotions, and developing adaptive beliefs. I utilize bilateral stimulation—through eye movements, tapping, or auditory tones—to support the brain’s natural capacity to integrate and resolve traumatic material. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment that empowers clients to reduce emotional distress, increase resilience, and experience lasting change.
