LMHC, 5 years of experience
I have been a clinician in the mental health field since 2018 and have worked across a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment. Over the years, I’ve supported clients through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship difficulties. I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and provide a safe, affirming space where you can explore your identity, experiences, and goals without judgment. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and strengthen self-esteem. Together, we will work to reduce anxiety and depression, increase self-confidence, and empower you to create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. How do you envision your best self? Let’s take the steps to get you there.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore your background, current concerns, and what you’d like to gain from our work together. This session is also about creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. My goal is to begin building a trusting relationship and to collaborate with you on setting goals that feel meaningful and realistic. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to do it alone—we’ll take the first steps together.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. These approaches provide practical tools for managing anxiety, depression, and emotional distress while building healthier coping strategies. I also integrate mindfulness techniques, self-esteem building exercises, and strengths-based approaches to support confidence, resilience, and personal growth. My goal is to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs, ensuring therapy feels both effective and empowering.
One of my greatest strengths is providing an affirming, non-judgmental space for my clients to feel seen, heard, and supported. I combine evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with a compassionate, collaborative style. Clients often share that they appreciate my ability to balance empathy with practical tools that help them manage anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges. I am passionate about helping individuals build confidence, strengthen their sense of identity, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I work best with individuals who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and identity-related concerns. My ideal clients may be members of the LGBTQIA+ community or allies who are navigating challenges around confidence, self-acceptance, relationships, or life transitions. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their next steps, but are motivated to create positive change and open to exploring new perspectives and skills. Together, we’ll focus on building resilience, strengthening self-worth, and fostering a greater sense of confidence and authenticity in daily life.
