My name is Dr. Isabella Vidriales, a Doctor of Counseling Psychology. I also practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California, Arizona, and Nevada. My clinical approach is mainly trauma-informed as well as person centered, solution focused, and eclectic approaches customized to match the needs of my clients. Trauma is more prevalent than we think and its impact on an individual’s overall well-being can have devastating results. My holistic approach allows me the opportunity to explore and understand individuals as a whole. I work on empowering others so they can rebuild a strong foundation to fall back on when there are setbacks in life. I am passionate with helping clients on their journey of self exploration and personal growth. I am here to support you through this difficult process and to provide you with the beneficial tools to help you overcome this challenging moment. Life is a journey of our own and sometimes it leads us to a path of unfamiliar territory. Unexpected life events and circumstances often trigger our unresolved insecurities, fears, as well as relive past traumas. You don’t have to walk this path alone. I look forward to serving you. Together we got this!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a safe, supportive, and trusting relationship. We will review confidentiality and how therapy works, talk about what brought you to seek support, explore relevant background information, and discuss your goals for treatment. There is no pressure to share anything you are not ready to discuss, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Feeling nervous is completely normal, and my role is to provide a respectful, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and understood as we begin outlining a plan to support your well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist include creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and respected, and using an integrative, trauma-informed approach tailored to each individual’s needs. I combine evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based strategies with practical tools clients can use in everyday life. Clients often share that they value my warm, collaborative style and my ability to balance compassion with honest, constructive feedback, helping them gain insight, build coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are motivated to better understand themselves, heal from past or ongoing stress or trauma, and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. I am especially well-suited to work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, work-related stress, or emotional overwhelm, and with those who want practical tools alongside deeper self-reflection. I work best with clients who are open to collaboration, honest self-exploration, and gradual growth, whether they are new to therapy or returning to continue their personal healing journey.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my work, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns that affect their emotions and behaviors. This structured, goal-oriented approach empowers clients to develop healthier coping strategies and improve their overall well-being. Through techniques like cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and coping skills training, I guide clients in identifying negative thought patterns, challenging distortions, and replacing them with more balanced perspectives. I also encourage practical exercises and real-life applications to reinforce progress outside of sessions. By focusing on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, CBT helps clients gain control over their challenges and build long-term resilience.
