Hannah Maki
Hello, my name is Hannah Maki. I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who utilizes integrative and holistic techniques when treating clients. Through my practice, I look beyond symptom management and investigate root causes of various mental health conditions. I utilize an individualistic approach and do not see psychiatric care as a "one size fits all." I integrate genetic and laboratory testing, nervous system regulation techniques, lifestyle guidance, medication management, and medication withdrawal support. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, depression, postpartum support, insomnia, OCD, and more. I'm here to support my patients in gaining true healing with their mental health.
First session
Your first appointment is a 45- to 60-minute comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment. We will explore lifestyle, genetic, nutritional, emotional, spiritual, and environmental factors to understand your unique needs and collaboratively establish your treatment goals.
Strengths
My care goes deeper than just managing symptoms. I work collaboratively with you to uncover the root causes of your mental health, examining how factors like nutrition, stress, nervous system regulation, and biology affect your overall well-being.
Ideal clients
My practice is designed for clients eager to uncover the root causes of their mental health symptoms. I specialize in anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorder (ADHD/ADD), postpartum support, insomnia, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and more. In addition, I provide a secure environment to navigate medication—whether that means carefully exploring new options or safely tapering off those that are no longer effective.
Treatment methods
Integrative
I utilize an integrative approach by operating on the principle that mental health conditions involve biological, psychological, social, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
