LCSW, 10 years of experience
Hello. My name is Caitlin, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with over 12 years of experience serving all ages. I believe that it is important to treat all of you including your mind, body and soul. When requested I love to offer Christian-based Counseling and include faith and prayer as part of your healing process. Every one of us have experienced events in our lives that shape the way we think, feel, and relate to the world around us. Sometimes we just need someone to provide a safe space to work through our challenges. No matter what your past holds, today can be the beginning of a new chapter.
You can expect to feel welcomed just as you are without judgement. I have experience in a variety of treatment modalities. I believe that every treatment needs to be tailored to your unique circumstance. I love to work alongside couples as well as individuals of all ages who are looking for change-transition is sometimes hard, and I am here to help support you through this process.
My greatest strength is that I see each person as a gift, and I believe that we are all uniquely made. Sometimes we all lose sight of this in ourselves, and we feel we don't have the strength to get through our challenges. I love to work within a strength-based model. Instead of solely concentrating on problems or deficits, I attempt to help you recognize and build on you existing abilities, resilience, and past successes. By identifying and amplifying your strengths, clients often feel more empowered, motivated, and capable of navigating challenges and making meaningful change. It fosters hope and reinforces the belief that you already have valuable tools within yourself to support your healing and growth. Healing is possible and you are worthy of it. I would be honored to walk alongside you through your journey. Don't hesitate to reach out!
You have taken the first step, and you are more than your struggles. I will honor all aspects of who you are—emotional, physical, cultural, and spiritual. We will work as a team, so you never feel alone on this journey. Healing is possible and you are worthy of it. I would be honored to walk alongside you through your journey. We all need grace and to be able to recognize that change no matter how hard, can happen. The work you put into yourself is worth it. I will be walking alongside you to create goals that you feel are important to you. Today is the day to focus on creating a healthier you.
I believe that it is important to treat all of what makes you, you! This includes your mind, body and soul. When requested I love to offer Christian-Based Counseling and include faith and prayer as part of your healing process. With God all things are made new. Let me walk alongside you in your healing journey.
CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is a type of therapy that helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. In practice, I help individuals identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with more realistic, balanced ones. This can lead to healthier emotions and more effective coping strategies in everyday life.
In my practice, I use Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) to help clients develop a kinder, more understanding relationship with themselves—especially when dealing with shame, self-criticism, or trauma. By teaching skills like self-soothing, mindfulness, and compassionate thinking, CFT supports emotional healing and resilience. It’s about building an inner sense of safety and care, which can be a powerful foundation for lasting change. We all deserve grace for ourselves, patience in change, and need to learn to love who we were made to be in our uniqueness.
In my work with couples, I create a safe and nonjudgmental space where both partners feel heard and respected. I help them learn to communicate more effectively through healthy dialogue, active listening, and emotional regulation. Together, we work through difficult emotions such as shame, guilt, and bitterness, while also exploring the possibility of rebuilding trust, connection, and hope. Healing is possible when both partners are committed to making meaningful changes and investing in their relationship.
You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you are welcomed just as you are. I bring experience in a variety of therapeutic approaches and believe that effective treatment should be personalized to meet your unique needs and circumstances. No one treatment is alike, as we are all unique.
