I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago's School of Social Work and more than 10 years of experience serving individuals across medical, community, and behavioral health settings. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, helping people navigate life's challenges while promoting emotional wellness and resilience. My passion for mental health began while working with pregnant women and adolescents . My experiences in medical settings deepened my commitment to supporting women, caregivers, individuals navigating pregnancy and postpartum, and people from historically marginalized and oppressed communities. Everyone deserves access to compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care where they feel valued and respected. My approach to therapy is person-centered, collaborative, and holistic. I see therapy as a partnership where you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as a clinical guide. Together, we will identify your strengths, explore challenges, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, caregiver stress, or challenges related to motherhood, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing can occur. I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health through education, open conversations, and whole-person care that recognizes the connection between emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being. My goal is to empower clients to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and live more fulfilling lives aligned with their values. I believe healing is possible for every person. While I bring professional knowledge and clinical expertise, I view myself as a compassionate guide who collaborates with clients on their journey toward healing and restoration. Every individual has the capacity to grow, overcome obstacles, and choose a path toward hope, wellness, and lasting transformation.
During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another. I'll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history including mental health history , and what you hope to achieve through counseling. This conversation helps me to better understand your experiences, strengths, and the challenges you're facing so we can begin developing a plan that fits your unique needs. You don't have to have all the answers or know exactly where to start. It's okay if you're unsure how to explain what you're feeling—that's part of the process. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and there is no pressure to share more than you're ready to discuss. My approach is collaborative and person-centered, meaning we'll work together to identify meaningful goals and create a treatment plan that reflects what matters most to you. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, stress, pregnancy or postpartum concerns, relationship challenges, caregiver burnout, or life transitions, therapy is a space where your voice and experiences are valued. Therapy is not about having someone tell you what to do—it's about having a trusted partner who will support, encourage, and challenge you as you build the life you want. I look forward to walking alongside you as you pursue healing, growth, and restoration.
I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, accepted, and respected, regardless of where you are in your journey. Therapy is a partnership. Together, we'll identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies that align with your values and lifestyle. I tailor therapy to your unique experiences, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. I consider the connection between your mental, emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being to support lasting wellness. I am committed to providing culturally responsive care that honors your identity, lived experiences, and personal values. Rather than focusing solely on challenges, I help clients recognize their resilience, build confidence, and use their existing strengths to overcome obstacles. I bring my genuine self into the therapeutic relationship, offering encouragement, accountability, and hope while supporting you through life's challenges. My hope is that every client leaves each session feeling seen, encouraged, and equipped with tools to continue moving toward healing. I believe every person has the capacity for growth, and it is an honor to walk alongside my clients as they pursue greater peace, resilience, and restoration.
