Hi there, I’m Liane! I have over 15 years of experience supporting adults, teens, and families as they work toward the lives and relationships they want—and are capable of. My approach is collaborative and eclectic. I meet you where you’re at while also encouraging growth toward your full potential. Together, we focus on understanding emotions, building effective coping skills, strengthening relationships, and gently shifting unhelpful thought and behavior patterns.
A first session typically includes a thorough assessment of history, reasons for coming to therapy, and setting a foundation for sessions and goals moving forward.
I show up with authenticity, humor, and compassion. I am not perfect and do not expect perfection from you! My goal is to provide a secure and safe space where insight, healing, and growth can happen, and where you feel encouraged to move toward the life and relationships you want. I'm licensed in FL and WI and have extensive training and education in trauma-informed therapy. I have worked in outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, community, corrections, and residential treatment.
You may be feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or aware that something needs to change- but unsure where to begin. Many come to therapy feeling weighed down by expectations, relationships, or patterns that no longer serve them. My approach is gentle and empathetic, while also being direct as needed, so we can work together toward meaningful and sustainable change

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy by helping clients notice how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another in daily life. In a collaborative and supportive way, we explore patterns that may no longer be serving them and practice new ways of thinking and responding that feel more aligned with their values. My use of CBT is flexible and client-centered, blending practical strategies with reflection to help clients build insight, confidence, and resilience.
Supportive
I practice through a supportive lens of empathy, validation and encouragement, and helping clients draw on their existing strengths to cope with life’s challenges. My use of supportive therapy aims to foster safety, hope, and emotional stability, especially during times of transition, stress, or overwhelm.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients increase emotional awareness, understand relational patterns, and build more secure and meaningful connections through a supportive, attachment-focused approach.
