I am a First-Gen multilingual therapist supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through life’s challenges. I integrate play therapy, family therapy, trauma-informed care, and attachment-based therapy.I am BIPOC and LGBTQIA+-affirming that has lived on five continents, served in the Peace Corps, and speaks French, Wolof, Spanish, and Fulani.I specialize in child and adolescent therapy and family therapy for trauma by tapping into their own resources of connection, creativity, and compassion. Whether using play therapy to help a child express what words can't, or family therapy to rebuild trust and communication at home, I approach each session with a trauma-informed lens and an open heart.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Healing doesn’t have to look like a straight line. Sometimes it looks like storytelling, laughter, tears, boundaries, or learning to feel safe in your body again. I’m here to help you get there, one brave step at a time.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Over the years, I've supported children, teens, adults, and families navigating trauma, identity, family dynamics, anxiety, and depression. I'm multilingual (French, English, Wolof, Fulah, Spanish) and have experience working with immigrant and refugee populations.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I support children, teens, and families navigating trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, attachment wounds, and family conflict. Whether your child is struggling with big feelings or your family system needs more harmony and healing, I provide a compassionate, culturally aware space to explore it all.I know that this step to find a therapist can be very overwhelming. Thank you for trusting in this process. I look forward to helping you in your journey.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a way of understanding how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. Sometimes our minds get stuck in unhelpful thinking patterns that make us feel worse or lead us to react in ways that don't help us. CBT helps you notice those patterns, look at them from a different perspective, and practice new ways of thinking and responding so you can feel better and handle challenges more effectively.

Multicultural

Everyone's story is different. Things like race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, socioeconomic background, and family traditions can affect mental health and how people cope with challenges. In therapy, we'll consider these parts of your identity because they may influence your experiences, strengths, relationships, and goals.

Play Therapy

Play therapy is a form of counseling that helps children express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through play. Since children often communicate more easily through toys, games, art, and imagination than through words alone, play becomes their way of sharing what they're thinking and feeling.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a type of therapy that helps people manage intense emotions, cope with stress, improve relationships, and make choices that align with their goals. It teaches practical skills you can use in everyday life when emotions feel overwhelming.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a type of counseling where family members work together to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and solve problems as a team. Instead of focusing on one person as the problem, family therapy looks at how everyone interacts and how those interactions can support positive change.
